“The more jobs you destroy in Mexico, the more immigration there will be in the U.S. Think for a second!” tweeted former President Felipe Calderón.

Former Mexican President Felipe Calderón responded to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's threats against several companies he made on Twitter earlier this week.

“The more jobs you destroy in Mexico, the more immigration there will be in the U.S. Think for a second!” tweeted Calderón.

After Donald Trump threatened Toyota with imposing a “big border tax” on cars sold in the U.S. but made in Mexico, the company defended its new plant in Guanajuato by saying that it won't have any effect on employment in the U.S.

Toyota announced in April 2015 that it would be investing 1 billion dollars to build the new plant in Apaseo El Grande, Guanajuato, which will build Corolla vehicles for sale worldwide beginning in 2019.
