Illegal gas siphoning at pipeline causes massive explosion in Puebla; one dead

One person was found dead as a result of an explosion caused by the illegal siphoning of gas at a Pemex pipeline in Palmar de Bravo, Puebla.

According to firefighters, the incident occurred early morning on Thursday along the Puebla-Orizaba highway and that two elementary schools located less than half a mile away were closed down for the day.

Three pickup trucks were abandoned at the site of the explosion, two of which were burned down as a result of the fire. A lifeless body was found inside the other truck. The victim has not yet been identified.
