Local and federal authorities will convert the oldest house in Mexico City, which dates back to the 1500's and is located in the Historical Downtown area of the city, into a museum.
In an interview with Mariano Leyva, head of the Historic Downtown Trust, reports that over 1.2 million dollars from the National Fund for Culture and Art will be allocated to the first stage of the project, which is expected to be completed early next year.
Leyva also said that a Skate Park will be built in the area this year and that street rehabilitation projects that were launched this year will continue in 2017, in addition to anti-graffiti campaigns aimed at covering up graffiti on local establishments.
