Popocatépetl spews 46 low-intensity exhalations

According to the report issued by the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), Popocatépetl volcano spewed 46 low-intensity exhalations accompanied by emissions of steam and gas.

The volcano also registered 35 minutes of harmonic tremor and three explosions yesterday at 6:21pm and 11:18 pm and at 4:45 am today.

Additionally, three volcano-tectonic earthquakes were registered yesterday at 7:35pm and 11:53 pm with magnitude of 1.4 and 1.5 respectively, and the last one at 07:37 am today with a 1.6 magnitude.
Yesterday night, incandescence was observed over the crater

At the time of this report, the volcano presents a continuous emission of steam, gas and ash heading to the east.
