Prime Minister of India arrives in Mexico

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi arrived in Mexico City and was welcomed by Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu at the presidential hangar.

“Hola México! PM @narendramodi lands in Mexico City for an important evening of diplomacy,” Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

According to the Mexican Foreign Ministry, this visit will give continuity to the dialogue held between both leaders during the last UN General Assembly in September 2015 and the visit of Ruiz Massieu to New Delhi in March this year.

“It's an honor to welcome you to our country, PM @narendramodi. I trust that your stay in @Mexico will be both productive and pleasant.” President Enrique Peña Nieto tweeted.
