Ramón Castro, bishop of Cuernavaca, marched to protest against the constitutional reform that authorizes gay marriages in Morelos, approved by local congressmen last Wednesday.

Castro said that congressmen “sold their consciences” for 2 or 3 million pesos.

He also criticized the cancellation of the political trial against governor Graco Ramírez and the elimination of the possibility to revoke a governor's mandate.

In his speech he also denounced corruption, embezzlement nepotism, and lack of accountability.

Castro marched accompanied by more than 20,000 people that left from four different points to gather at Cuernavaca Cathedral.
