Two dead after powder keg blast in Tultepec

A powder keg exploded in the community of San Antonio Xahuento, killing two and leaving three wounded according to the authorities in the municipality of Tultepec, State of Mexico.

Early reports indicate that the detonation occurred at 12:30 p.m. in a building used for the production of fireworks.

The area has been closed by the authorities, due to the continuous detonations in the building.

Tultepec is well known for the production of fireworks and the factories in the area work under regulation from the Ministry of Defense.
