Vice President Joe Biden will lead the U.S. delegation to an annual U.S.-Mexico economic summit in Mexico City.
The White House says Biden departs the U.S. on Wednesday and will spend Thursday in Mexico City. With him are Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz and Interior Secretary Sally Jewell. While in Mexico, Biden is expected to meet with President Enrique Peña Nieto.
Mexico and the U.S. are major trading partners and members of the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade deal.
