The Mexican band formed by Fher Olvera, Alex González, Sergio Vallín and Juan Calleros received the star on Wednesday at the Hollywood Boulevard, accompanied by guitar icon Carlos Santana, actress America Ferrera and hundreds of fans.
Maná vocalist Fher thanked to the fans at the ceremony organized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
The band formed in 1986 in Guadalajara, Mexico, has sold over 40 million albums, received four Grammy awards and eight Latin Grammy awards.
On Tuesday, Maná announced their "Latino Power Tour", which kicks off on September 9 at Viejas Arena in San Diego, and is being billed as a call to vote for Latinos nationwide. The tour will also include concerts in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and Las Vegas.
