Anti-bullfighting activists protest in Mexico City

About 200 people protested in the Plaza Mexico against bullfighting, during the presentation of famed bullfighter José Tomas.

With cardboard masks, banners and disguises the activists protested against such practice, calling it an act of "cruelty against animals".

"Bulls yes, bullfighters no," claimed the activists under the watch of security guards.

Entire families gathered in the Plaza, considered by many the Mecca of bullfighting in Mexico City, causing all sorts of reactions from those who usually visit the place.
