Popocatépetl volcano spews 20 exhalations

According to the report of the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 20 low-intensity exhalations in the last 24 hours.

20 minutes of tremor and one volcano-tectonic earthquake were also recorded.

Incandescence over the crater was observed at night.

Today morning, a continuous emission of steam and gas heading to the northeast was observed.
