Mexico U-17 defeats Ecuador 2-0

The Mexican national soccer team under 17 kept the good pace and defeated Ecuador by a score of 2-0, getting the ticket to the semifinals on the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The game in the Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso stadium in Chile saw a constant battle for power between both teams, but in the end the Mexicans were able to best their South-American rivals.

Zamudio opened the score for Mexico in light of the deficient Ecuadorean defense on the 54.

Salazar scored the second goal for Mexico on the 54.

With this result, Mexico will now face Nigeria on the semifinals.
