Hurricane Linda, located on the Pacific Ocean, has weakened to category 1 storm, according to the U.S. Hurricane Center.

At 04:15 am, the hurricane was located 276 miles (445 km) west-southwest of Cabo San Lázaro and 407 miles (655 km) west of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, according to the Mexican Weather Service (SMN).

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 80 mph (130 km/h) with higher gusts. Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the center and tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 160 miles (260 km). The estimated minimum central pressure is 979 mb (28.91 inches).
