The Governor of the State of Jalisco, Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval, made an urgent call to the federal government in order to "take radical diplomatic measures, reaching to severing ties with the government of Egypt, going as far to the removal of the ambassadors," after the attack that caused the death of eight Mexicans and left other six wounded.
He stressed that it is unacceptable that there is nothing clear about the attack and reiterated his call for extreme measures in order to demand a resolution and express anger for the incident.
“So this would never happen again to a Mexican anywhere ... A militaristic acting government with those excesses against citizens with permissions, in the face of the testimony and information provided by the relatives (of the victims). We need justice and have the truth be known in a short time," expressed Sandoval.
