PRD finance secretary is found dead

Raúl Flores, president of the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) in Mexico City, confirmed the death of Julio Manuel de Caso González, finance secretary of the party.

De Caso was found hanging from a rope with a shot on his head at the rooftop of the PRD offices on Tonalá street, in Mexico City.

Flores said that apparently De Caso killed himself due to personal and health reasons and added that it had nothing to do with the party finances.

 

"We want to express our solidarity with his wife and his children," Flores said.
