Vampire Weekend to perform in Mexico City

All lovers of indie-rock music in Mexico woke up to a big surprise last Monday . The American band Vampire Weekend has just announced two performances in Mexico City in October as part of their “Father of the Bride” tour . Tickets will be available on May 21.

Ezra Koenig, Chris Tomson, and Chris Baio

will reunite with their Mexican fans, performing at the Metropolitan Theater on October 21 and 22 .

Ticket prices range from MXN$709 to MXN$2,272 and you may purchase them through Ticketmaster . Presale for Citibanamex cardholders will be held on May 20, while general sales will start on the 21, at 11:00 a.m.

The band from New York formed in 2006. “Harmony Hall,” “A-Punk,” and “2021” are some of their best-known hits.
