From September 17 to 28 , Twitter will continue to celebrate Mexico’s national independence with the creation of the account @TwitterMéxico , which will feature the beauty and talent of Mexico for all users to see.
In a statement, the social network explained that, through 12 different hashtags and themes , the platform would invite users to share their creativity in the fresh and fun way that characterizes Mexico’s sense of humor.
To welcome @TwitterMéxico, the Mexican cartoonist Trino ( @trinomonero ) designed an exclusive emoji , which will be available until the end of September , with the hashtags #VivaMéxico and #TwitterMéxico .
The account will kick off with the hashtag #HolaTwitterMéxico , for users to welcome the account and share their motivations and passions in the online platform.
On Wednesday , during the anniversary of the September 19 earthquake , Mexicans will come together again through the hashtag #FuerzaMéxico , remembering all the people who came together to lend a hand while promoting a culture of prevention in central Mexico.
The account will also address topics such as music, through the hashtag #EscuchaEnMéxico , as well as #FiestasEnMéxico, #ArteEnMéxico, #DeportesEnMéxico, #RinconesDeMéxico and #ComeEnMéxico , among others.
The celebration will end on Friday September 28 . The account will pay tribute to Mexican creativity, reminding users of some of the country’s most popular trends and memes, such as the Mexican “lords” and “ladies,” with the hashtag #SoloEnTwitterMexico .
