For the second year in a row, the National Day of Mexican Cinema will be celebrated and this time digital platforms like Netflix , Cinépolis Klic , and Apple TV will join the party.
Last Tuesday, the Ministry of Culture revealed through a press release that the streaming service Netflix has prepared a collection of 20 Mexican feature films as part of the activities to commemorate the Mexican cinematographic industry .
From August 12 to September 16 , national film lovers will find this collection of movies under the title “Celebramos el Cine Mexicano.”
This compendium of feature films will be a mix of genres and formats among which will be classics of the contemporary cinema made in Mexico like “Sex, Shame, and Tears.”
In addition, the film “Storaged” (Almacenados) which represents one of the dramas in this selection. There will also be a comedy with “Tales of an Immoral Couple” and Mexican documentaries such as “Ayotzinapa, The Turtle’s Pace” and “Armed to the Teeth,” and of course, the international success “ROMA.”
To access this collection, users can enter Netflix.com/CineMexicano or look in the Netflix search engine “Celebremos el Cine Mexicano.”

and Apple TV will launch special offers for the rent of Mexican content and thus join this cinematographic celebration.
