"Historias bonitas de Mexico" (Beautiful stories about Mexico), a film by Alex Moreno, was part of CineSpace 2018, an event organized by the Science, Technology and Innovation Council of Hidalgo (Citnova).

In collaboration with the NASA, the Houston Cinema Arts Society, and the Conacyt, CineSpace exhibited short films from the 2017 edition.

Organized by NASA and the Cinema Arts Society (HCAS), the screened material presented new views on life, using images from outer space, and videos compiled during 60 years, recorded by NASA telescopes and spacecraft.

As part of the event, Alex Moreno, a Mexican filmmaker who has produced films and documentaries, including "The Land of Silence" produced with Oscar winner Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, as well as the acclaimed television series "Da Vinci's Demons”, was present.

One of his documentaries, “Waste Land”, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary, and other 35 awards worldwide, including the Panorama Award at the International Film Festival; the International Amnesty Award at the Sundance Film Festival and the Film Award for his short film “Apizaco”.
