Martí Batres is into public healthcare

The Senate president, Martí Batres Guadarrama , went to a public hospital in the Narvarte neighborhood in Mexico City, where he will update his personal information, that is, he will be assigned a doctor . We've been told that his visit to a public hospital will allow Batres to notice the doctors' deficiencies and needs. The lawmakers' decision has two purposes: he expects to be treated the same way as other beneficiaries and the second, that his colleagues do the same. The Senator's bravery is commendable since he is willing to place his health on the hands of an institute where one of its former directors died because he was treated in a deficient way.

Is the PRD nearing the end?

The PRD has received another major blow. The PRD's bench in the lower chamber has only 10 lawmakers left. After 9 of its members abandoned it, among them is Ricardo Gallardo , its leader. This event, the exit of a coordinator , is historical . We've been told these group, led by Gallardo , will create an independent group to vote freely. We've been told that although its prohibited, this group will try to form a de facto bench to be present in every debate and maybe, with Morena's support , it will have a seat in the Political Coordination Board . Someone at the PRD told us that “they reached their price and that's why they left with Morena !”. Is that the case or the PRD doesn't know what do to? How much time does the PRD has left?

Friends no more

It must have been a rough weekend for María Luisa Albores González , the head of the Well-being Ministry , as Clara Torres , the one in charge of the Daycare Program disagreed with the way in which the federal government wanted to manage the program and quit. Her resignation is seen as the first major resignation for the new government , while others say that it has been very scandalous because it's a critical moment because of what is happening at daycares .

Ruiz Massieu, nowhere to be seen

“The absentee ”, that's what some PRI lawmakers call the national PRI leader, Claudia Ruiz Massieu . PRI members claim doesn't allow the deputies to follow the same lines in regards to the national issue, what's more, she is never at San Lázaro to influence the voting in relevant cases such as the National Guard . It's clear that the renovation process at the party's leadership is in process and that the PRI isn't really united.
