The Forever Alone Fest is the first Latin American festival to feature post-rock and math-rock music

After four consecutive editions, the creators of the Forever Alone Fest (FAF) will launch a fifth festival aiming to make a joke out of failed relationships and heartbreak while also celebrating those who enjoy being single.

“We are the first disruptive celebration made for those who are tired of Valentine’s Day. We believe that broken relationships and heartbreak should also have a place to be exteriorized,” the FAF claimed through their Facebook page.

The festival will take place on June 1 at Mexico City’s Galera events center in the Doctores neighborhood.

The Forever Alone Fest is the first Latin American festival to feature post-rock and math-rock music. The official lineup for the music festival includes both world-class and local bands:

standards (U.S.)
Punto de Fuga (Guadalajara, Mx)

The festival will also feature other activities to make it more entertaining, including:

-Tiangeeks

- Presentation of Cyber Punk illustrators
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament

Tickets for the first stage called “denial” have unfortunately sold out, but you can still enjoy the other stages of grief:

So if you’re feeling lonely and—why not?—a little frustrated, feel free to enjoy the Forever Alone Fest 2019 with other lonely people.
