During the first quarter of 2018, Mexican economy showed an increase of 1.1% regarding the previous quarter, based on adjusted numbers for seasonality, according to numbers reviewed by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography ( INEGI ). This quarterly growth rate is the highest recorded since the third quarter of 2016.
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the activities related to the services industry grew 1.1% between January – March 2018, and the agriculture and industry sectors by 0.9% each during the previous quarter.

The numbers of this marker were reviewed when they were integrated to the latest basic statistical information available and when the conciliation between the quarter and annual calculations of the System of National Accounts, based on the Assets and Services Accounts 2016 recently published.
