Mexico’s Foreign Affairs Minister Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón received 2,000 ventilators that arrived in Mexico City’s International Airport all the way from Chicago , U.S.

The minister stressed that these Philips ventilators were specially designed for the coronavirus pandemic and said that “it’s very meaningful for them to arrive today because it is precisely now when they will be used the most throughout the Mexican Republic .”
He said that this equipment is “a great treasure” since it is currently really hard to obtain this amount of ventilators in the world.

The deputy secretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights of the Foreign Affairs Ministry (SRE) , Martha Delgado , Héctor Valle , director of the Mexican Health Foundation , and Phillips delegates were present at the airport.
Héctor Valle stressed that this is a collaborative work between the federal government and the Mexican private sector to face the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico, “This shows we can work together,” he said.

In his Twitter account, Ebrard thanked the Mexican private sector for the donation of the E30 Philips ventilators.
