Alexa Moreno moves to finals at FIG World Cup in Azerbaijan

Mexican gymnast Alexa Moreno

has once again brought honor to Mexico at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan .

The Mexican athlete qualified for the vault final, which will take place this Saturday and will give Moreno an opportunity to win her first medal this season.

In February , Moreno came very close to winning at the 2019 World Cup Gymnastics in Melbourne, Australia , where she finished fourth.

Mexicans boasted the athlete’s accomplishment in social media, and the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE) tweeted: “The Mexican gymnast Alexa Moreno will move to the vault finals at the Baku World Cup. Next Saturday, she will have a chance of obtaining her first medal of the season.”
