The soccer club West Ham United made official the transfer of Javier “Chicharito” Hernández and presented him today with a three-year deal which will commence with the 2017-2018 season.

Without deciding which number he will wear, “Chicharito” posed with the “Hammers” shirt, from the Premier League .

“West Ham United are delighted to confirm the signing of Mexican striker Javier Hernández from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of £16million ,” announced the club on its official website, which launched today its Spanish version .

The Mexican striker will be immediately under Slaven Bilic 's command and will fly to Germany to meet with the rest of the team, where he will continue off-season training.

For his part, co-President David Sullivan said: “We are delighted to welcome Javier as the latest fantastic addition to the West Ham United squad.”
