Mazda’s vehicle fleet in Mexico is of 340,000 cars and is ranked as the ninth brand with national sales in the country. Its remodeling plan for all Mazda licensee agencies in Mexico is currently underway and aims to improve the image and customer service of all its fifty-six car dealers in the country in a four-year time span, commencing in 2017 with 10 agencies.

Among the first agencies to be restyled are those located in Mexico City, Metepec in State of Mexico, Guadalajara in Jalisco, Monterrey in Nuevo León, Hermosillo in Sonora, Mérida in Yucatán and León in Guanajuato.

Miguel Barbeyto, Senior Director of Mazda Mexico, said that Mazda is pushing forward the restyling of its licensees around the world: “Mazda licensee agencies are changing worldwide considering changes in our current and future products. It is important that our products match our premises”.

"Wider glass windows, will allow for a better look of our products; our premises will be more modern and sophisticated and include a lot for used cars for sale. Some agencies will also include a car repair shop housing up to four hundred vehicles.", he added.

Increase to exhibition spaces and offices will allow agencies to go from seventy employees to one-hundred and twenty collaborators, says Ricardo Albuerne, Director of Aldorf Group and owner of the first refurbished agency of Las Torres in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
