Vigilante calmly leaves restaurant after shooting mugger to death

The vigilante who killed one of several muggers who attempted to rob patrons at a restaurant in Mexico City's Narvarte neighborhood was seen leaving calmly without anyone stopping him in city surveillance footage that's currently under investigation by the Mexico City Attorney General's Office.

According to the deposition, the video shows the moment in which the so-called vigilante drives away calmly and even stops at a red light moments after shooting the mugger to death at the establishment.

EL UNIVERSAL released today images of the crime scene at the restaurant where the vigilante, who's believed to be a private bodyguard or police officer, killed one of the muggers. His accomplices escaped unharmed.

The Attorney General continues its investigation into the whereabouts of the muggers and the vigilante.
