The Lourdes Sosa Gallery in Mexico City's Polanco neighborhood will celebrate its 16th anniversary on October 27 with the inauguration of a collection of original pieces by contemporary artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Richard Hambleton, Jeff Koons and Brent Wadden.

The exhibit will be presented alongside the gallery's permanent collection, which includes paintings by Rufino Tamayo, Pedro Coronel, Ricardo Martínez, Francisco Toledo and Arnaldo Coen.

According to an official press statement, the collection will be open to the public through December 6 and is aimed at allowing visitors to see the world-renowned artists' work, which has played a crucial role in defining contemporary art scene, first hand.

The collection will be presented in collaboration with the Woodbery-House gallery in London and the world-renowned international collector Andy Valmorbida.

Members of the Woodbery-House said that “we are extremely excited to share these fantastic pieces with Mexico City.”

For over 16 years, the Lourdes Sosa Gallery's mission has been to help share and promote with the public artists from different moments of history that highlight Mexico's modernism and the world's.
