A trailer truck fell into a ravine at noon, on the Teotitlán-Huautla de Jiménez, killing its driver.
The trailer was transporting 100 tons of cement and ended some 300 feet inside the ravine surrounding the dangerous area known as "Devil's Curve".
The driver was identified as Esteban Manuel Vélez Coheto, and his body was found under the heavy vehicle.
The authorities are trying to determine the causes of the incident.
