Mexican soccer player Carlos Vela was bought by the Arsenal in 2006, after playing for the Tri Under-17, winner of the World Cup in that category.
But, for some reason he was never used by coach Arsene Wenger, who lent him to different teams.
In 2011, he was lent to Real Sociedad, his current team.
On Saturday, ten years later, the French coach had nothing but praise for the Mexican forward.
"Carlos Vela has a top talent and is one of the best forwards in Europe because he is very smart with the ball," he said.
Wenger spoke to the press just a day before the game between Arsenal and Mexico's Chivas Guadalajara.
