4,000 teachers to protest at Mexico City downtown

Around 4,000 members of the National Coordination of Education Workers (CNTE) will march from the Hemiciclo a Juárez monument at La Alameda park to the Interior Ministry on Bucareli street to demand the reopening of the negotiation table.

Today morning dissident teachers blocked the Mexico City-Toluca highway for over four hours after policemen blocked their way to Mexico City.
