Parents caught teacher abusing students

The Attorney General of the State of Mexico (PGJEM) reported that Pedro Manrique, a teacher that was rescued on Monday from being lynched, was allegedly caught by parents while sexually touching two minors.

In a statement, the PGJEM said that the dance teacher of Emma Willard school in Chalco, State of Mexico, was caught touching two children “while they were in dance class."

The students reported that the teacher played with them different games such as the "hotelito” (little hotel) and "caracolito" (small snail) and that he used a puppet to touch them.

The teacher, 52, is accused of sexually abusing two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. 

According to the PGJEM, there are eight possible victims of sexual abuse. 

Manrique was taken to Chalco prison on Tuesday.
