Popocatépetl volcano spews 112 exhalations

According to the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 112 low-intensity exhalations in the last 24 hours.

161 minutes of low-amplitude harmonic tremor were also reported.

Incandescence over the crater was observed at night.

At the time of this report, a light emission of steam and gas heading to the east northeast side was observed.
