Four killed after cathedral collapses in Oaxaca

Four workers died and 19 more were wounded after the collapse of the San Juan Bautista Cathedral in Tuxtepec, state of Oaxaca.

According to Felipe Reyna, State Coordinator of Civil Protection of Oaxaca, the roof of the cathedral collapsed yesterday at noon while workers were on it.

In an interview with the journalist Adela Micha, he reported that the four killed were identified as Roberto Joaquín Cabrera, Roberto Campos Lara, Gabriel Dionisio Estrada and Randy Dionisio, these last two father and son, respectively.

Reyna added that other 19 people were injured, and one of them is critical.

He also pointed out that the authorities are investigating the causes of the incident.
