Poppy and cannabis plantations destroyed in Baja California

The National Security Commission reported the detection and eradication of three poppy plantations and four cannabis fields in the municipality of Ensenada, Baja California, covering more than 0.37 acres.

The first of these actions was reportedly undertaken in the area of the ejido Eréndira, where three poppy plantations were found near a dry river.

Other nearby fields, camouflaged with dry branches and also equipped with an irrigation system, seemed to be dedicated to the production of cannabis.
