Five killed in violence in Guerrero

The violence continues to prevail in the state of Guerrero on Saturday, after the reported killing of five people in different areas of the region, among them two females.

In the norther municipality of Iguala, two women and a man in his 30s were shot around 1:00 a.m., according to the authorities. The attacker was on board a motorcycle and quickly left. Another young man was also wounded.

Also, in the area of Ayutla, a manager of the Federal Electricity Commission was killed.

In Acapulco, the most violent region during the last year, with some 70 killings, a taxi driver was killed with a 9mm gun, the most common type used in the area according to police reports.
