Popocatépetl volcano registers 62 exhalations and 10 explosions

According to the report of the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the surveillance system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 62 low-intensity exhalations and ten explosions during the last 24 hours.

In addition, incandescent material was observed around the crater.

A weak emission of steam and gas heading to the southeast was also reported.

Slight incandescence over the crater was observed at night.
