How to help refugees amid crisis in Europe

Europe is facing its biggest refugee influx in decades. More than 300,000 people have risked their lives to cross the Mediterranean Sea so far this year. Over 2,600 people did not survive, including children.

After arriving in Europe, they continue their struggle – they have to face chaos, exploitation, and dangers at borders and along the way.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Mexico has launched a support program to help refugees from Syria, Pakistan, among others.
