Popocatépetl volcano spews 24 exhalations

In the last 24 hours, the monitoring system at Popocatépetl volcano registered 24 low-intensity exhalations accompanied by gas and steam emissions

Five low-intensity explosions and 12 minutes of low-amplitude harmonic tremor were also registered.

Yesterday night incandescence above the crater was observed.

At the time of this report, the volcano was observed with slight amounts of steam and gas westwards.
