A landslide over the Uruapan-Paracho road, in Michoacán, left eight people wounded after very strong rains affected the El Mirador mountain.

A dozen people were left trapped after a vehicle fell 130 feet over a local business, according to the report by the local authorities.

Officers from the Mexican Army, Federal Police and Civil Protection are rushing to aid the wounded and perform rescue duties, while the road remains closed.
