According to the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), during the last 24 hours the seismic monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 72 low-intensity exhalations.
During yesterday afternoon and today the visibility was significantly diminished due to dense clouds.
During this morning tenuous steam and gas emissions have been observed. At this moment dense clouds are present again.
This type of activity is included in Yellow Phase 2.
