More than six million cases of the novel coronavirus have been officially recorded worldwide, two thirds of them in Europe and the United states , according to a tally on Saturday ( May 30 ).

To date there are at least 6,438,254 cases of coronavirus recorded and 382,299 deaths.
The tallies, using data collected from national authorities and information from the World Health Organisation ( WHO ), probably reflect only a fraction of the actual number of infections .
