Mexico's kayak team wins gold in Barranquilla 2018

Mexican athletes Javier López, Mauricio Figueroa, Juan Rodríguez, and Osbaldo Fuentes were crowned champions in the 500-meter kayak trial at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla , adding another gold to Mexico’s long list of medals.

The trial in which the Mexican quartet excelled was the 500-meter k4 , with a 01:22 time , leaving the Cuban team in second place , and Venezuela in third . Mexico is still at the top of the medal table with 118 gold medals, 98 silver medals, and 73 bronze ones .
