López Obrador needs a vacation

After daily press conferences, 16 hour-shifts, tours, and 100 days leading the federal government, we've been told that President López Obrador's team is analyzing the possibility of him taking a few days off during Easter. The President himself has told his team he might spend part of Easter with his family as he has done it in previous years. We've been told that the President and his family might travel to Tabasco or to the President's ranch in Palenque, Chiapas.

Torruco is in trouble

Businesspeople from the tourism industry and opposition senators aren't pleased with the Tourism Minister's, Miguel Torruco, performance, who has been in charge of cutting the budget of several programs. We've been told that among lawmakers, Torruco earned some negative points after releasing a spot that the President then ordered to cancel. Then, he visited Berlin, instead of visiting and highlighting touristic places in Mexico. Businesspeople are disappointed with his work and in the Senate, there are talks of asking the official to explain his scarce results.

López Obrador vs. Zapata's grandson

The referendums President López Obrador organizes to ask people about certain decisions won a legal battle yesterday. Yesterday, the Electoral Tribunal declared itself unfit to issue a statement in regards to the legality of the referendums. Jorge Zapata, the grandson revolutionary leader Emiliano Zapata, contested the referendum of the thermoelectric plant in Morelos and another citizen contested the referendum of the cancellation of the Texcoco airport.

PAN members don't like their Puebla candidate

We've been told that the Moreno Valle fraction in the PAN doesn't agree with the choice for the Puebla election, Enrique Cárdenas, even when he is a citizen candidate as they hoped that one of them would be the candidate or even someone from the conservative branch, as long as they were a PAN member. Nevertheless, we've been told that the Moreno Valle fraction forgets that all the contenders deserted before being smashed by Morena, as it has overwhelming support in Puebla.
