An important part of the proceeds obtained by the film "Roma" will be donated to nonprofit organizations.

Netflix Acquisitions Director, Matt Brodlie, said that the film by Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón will be screened in different spaces.

"We would be pleased to share this incredible film with the audience of Cinépolis and Cinemex, so we put 'Roma' at their disposal in case they decide to exhibit the film in their movie theaters starting on November 21," he said in a statement.

The film, awarded with the Golden Lion of the Venice Film Festival, will premiere on Netflix on December 14.

The film will have a special role, on November 27 at the Blackberry Auditorium, with the purpose to contribute to the reconstruction efforts and sustainable housing in Mexico City.

The organization Pienza Sostenible, which focuses on collaborating in sustainable social housing reconstruction projects, will be responsible for managing the funds and using them for rural housing reconstruction projects in communities affected by the September 2017 earthquakes.

As well as the training of domestic workers through the Support and Training Center for Domestic Workers A.C. (CACEH).
