Kate del Castillo: I regret absolutely nothing

Kate del Castillo talked about the difficult times she's been through ever since news broke out of her meeting with infamous cartel leader Joaquín Guzmán Loera.

In an interview on the television show Ventaneando, the Mexican actress denied having been romantically involved with the actor Sean Penn or cartel leader.

Regarding her involvement with one of the world's most wanted drug lords, she said “I regret absolutely nothing. I did nothing illegal. I'm an actress who's constantly on the lookout for the best stories,” she said.

She did, however, say that her only regret in all of this was not seriously considering who she can trust. “I should've considered carefully who I can actually trust,” she said.

She went on to talk about how important her family has been to her. “In this moment and throughout my entire life. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for my family.”

When asked about the reward for the capture of El Chapo, the actress said “I have no idea if someone claimed it.”
