Authorities confirm killing of two priest in Veracruz

Authorities confirmed the killing of two catholic priest in Poza Rica, in the state of Veracruz.

According to initial reports, a group of armed men entered the church of Our Lady of Fatima in the municipality of Poza Rica and kidnapped three men, two of them local priests.

A few hours later, the driver of one of the priests was found safe and then brought to testify before the authorities.

Authorities confirmed that the two kidnapped men were found dead in an area located on the Papantla-Poza Rica highway; they were identified as priests Alejo Naborí and José Alfredo Jiménez Juárez.
