The bodies of María Herminia and her two sons killed in Chicago along her parents and one of her brothers, finally arrived at the municipality of Temixco, where her husband Armando Cruz Jiménez lives.

The bodies of her brother and parents were taken to their city of Guanajuato.

María and her children were killed in their home in the neighborhood of Gage Park, Cook County, last February 4.

Cruz Jiménez would not rather talk about the killing of María and 10-year-old Alexis and 13-year-old Leonardo. According to the first investigation, she was killed with a firearm and the boys were beaten and knifed to death, just like their grandparents and uncle.

Cruz Jiménez was in Mexico in order to arrange his legal residence in the United States, where he lived for 15 years.

He received the bodies in the residence of his mother Trinidad, where the three white coffins were placed in the center of a green room. The funerals are being held there and tomorrow they will be buried at the cemetery of Acatlipa.

"Finally, my family will rest in peace," expressed laconically Cruz Martínez before adding that he will continue with his U.S. residence process.
