Mexican injured in Paris terrorist attacks

A 30-year-old Mexican got injured in the terrorist attacks committed by the Islamic State in Paris that left over a 100 dead.

The Mexican citizen, who was at one of the three restaurants attacked by the Islamic State, had three splinters stuck in his back and an injured foot. He was hospitalized in Paris and out of danger, Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) informed.

Yesterday the SRE advised Mexicans to be alert “given the unpredictable nature of the violence” and to inform themselves about the situation of the places they wish to visit.

Around 1,500 Mexicans live in Paris.
