The National Weather Service (SMN) reported the formation of tropical depression "Seven" over the Atlantic Ocean while Kevin lost strength and weakened to a low-pressure remnant in the Pacific.

The National Water Commission (Conagua) reported that the tropical depression is 3,920 miles east of Cancún, Quintana Roo, and 267 miles south-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.

In regard to the tropical cyclone in the Atlantic, Conagua indicated that the phenomenon moves west at 13.6 miles per hour and presents gusts of 46 mph.

Although it is expected to intensify into a tropical storm on Sunday, the tropical depression is not expected to cause damage in Mexico.

At 10:00 a.m. Kevin dissipated over the Pacific Ocean and its remnants are located approximately 187 miles west of Cabo San Lucas, moving north-northwest at 6.8 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 34 mph and gusts of 46 miles per hour.
